Emily joined Edenbridge in 2022 and provides support to the Edenbridge team through administration, conference and event planning, scheduling, and recruitment. Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Her interest in public health initiatives that aid underserved populations led her to Edenbridge.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and curling up on the couch with either a good book or reruns of her favorite shows on the TV.
Micaela provides daily administrative support to Dr. Gordon, including scheduling, communication, clinical hours, and travel. She also assists the rest of the Edenbridge team with various tasks, such as meeting creation and scheduling, conference and event planning, and graphic design.
Micaela graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY New Paltz in 2021, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and a concentration in Public Relations. She hopes to one day continue her studies and pursue a master’s degree.
Micaela is thrilled to be a part of such an amazing team who share the same goals and values.
With more than 15 years of experience, Robrette oversees Human Resources for Edenbridge PACE at Skyland Town Center. Robrette is a proactive and solutions-focused professional with special interest in optimizing operational processes, maximizing efficiencies, and developing strategies to increase employee productivity, employee engagement, and company compliance within the small business, corporate and start-up environments.
Robrette holds a BS in Sociology and Psychology from Emory University, and was certified in Human Resources at Rice University.
Judy has an extensive background in healthcare marketing, and currently leads Edenbridge’s community and partnership engagement efforts in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and new markets. Previously, Judy launched Fallon Health’s NaviCare Senior Care Options (SCO) and Medicare Advantage Special Needs Program (SNP) to market, as well as two subsequent expansions. She also opened three PACE centers in Worcester County, MA, achieving target membership ahead of plan.
Nina brings 25 years’ experience to Edenbridge Health, with a specialty in optimizing talent in the healthcare field. Prior to joining Edenbridge, Nina spent nearly 20 years at The Advisory Board Company, a healthcare consulting firm that was known for its innovative talent management practices, with multiple HR awards and recognitions. During her time there, the company grew from 300 to almost 4,000 employees, requiring a wide range of talent solutions. Nina holds an MBA from Georgetown University.
In a career spanning more than three decades, John has been a key executive with several path-breaking organizations, participating in all levels of the real estate concept development process.
Starting in an operations role for a small bakery chain in Boston and growing into increasingly senior roles in a variety of organizations, John is a seasoned development leader with strong problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to plan, design, and implement successful real estate initiatives. John has led the successful expansion of multiple fast-casual restaurant chains, executing on both company owned and franchise strategies leveraging geographic and channel growth yielding above average returns. While at Trammel Crow company, he executed a global outsourcing business model, servicing multiple Fortune 50 companies, including CVS/Pharmacy, Exxon/Mobil, Bank of America and Walgreens.
In addition to driving new unit growth initiatives, John has led the concept revitalization of several restaurant chains providing a renewed platform to drive incremental sales and profits. His innovative repositioning model became the go-forward growth vehicle for two companies. John partnered in a successful management buyout and subsequent turnaround of a successful fast-casual brand and provided leadership in sales and profit growth which led to a successful recapitalization in thirty-six months.
John holds a B.S. degree from the University of Dayton, and an MBA from Suffolk University. He participated on the Greater Boston Catholic Charities Board of Trustees for many years and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Yawkey House of Possibilities.
Will Kerrigan joined Edenbridge in 2022. Prior to Edenbridge, Will served in a number of roles at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts, including as Deputy Chief of Staff for then-District Attorney Rachael Rollins. During his tenure, he helped develop internal policies and procedures and managed the daily operations of the Office.
Will earned his BA in English from Providence College. In his spare time, Will enjoys skiing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Shaelin joined Edenbridge in 2021 and provides support to the Edenbridge team through administration, project management, HR and recruiting, and other special projects. Shaelin holds a special interest in public health initiatives that benefit underserved populations through an inclusive and person-centered approach, which ultimately led her to PACE and Edenbridge.
Shaelin earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Nutrition from the University of Vermont and is looking forward to returning to school to earn her MPH and continue her career in health promotion and disease prevention.
Alicia is a career healthcare professional who has worked in a variety of settings for more than 15 years. She began her career at Anne Arundel County Department of Health overseeing the operations of the eligibility and enrollment department. She worked for QCI Behavioral Health for more than 10 years as both Executive Consultant and Chief Operating Officer where she managed and supervised all facets of the company and was responsible for driving effective management and problem resolution. Most recently, she was with Sheppard Pratt as their Division Director for Community, Family and School Based Services where she was responsible for overall program development and expansion.
Alicia enjoys cooking, baking, and creating charcuterie boards for her friends and family. Over the years she has created many recipes and blogs about her international travel and love for coffee on various social media platforms. She is also featured in a documentary: Woman of Faith-Coping with Trauma, where she along with four other women speak out about their traumatic experiences and how they used faith to overcome them.
Alicia earned a Masters in Health Care Administration from Siena Heights University and a BA in Psychology from Wayne State University.
Throughout his career, Casey has focused on advancing the health of older persons. Prior to joining Edenbridge Health, he was on the management team of AgeSpan, a large human service provider in Massachusetts. Before this, he spent six years as a federal official at the Administration for Community Living, within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he worked on older adult health programs domestically and globally. Casey has a BA from Boston University and a MPH from Columbia University.
Brian McKaig has worked in senior healthcare for nearly 30 years. Beginning his career as a long-term care administrator in nursing homes and assisted living communities, Brian ultimately found his way into the home and community-based services realm as the Director of Cornerstone’s Adult Day Health program in Rhode Island. It was here that Brian first saw the inherent benefits of community-based models of care.
During his 18 years leading PACE programs, Brian served as Director of Operations for the PACE Organization of Rhode Island, where he led the development of Rhode Island’s first PACE program. He opened and served as the Director of the LIFE PACE program in Tulsa, Oklahoma and most recently with Hope Healthcare as the Director of their five PACE programs in Southwest Florida.
Brian is passionate about working with seniors to improve their dignity and quality of life.
Eric joined Edenbridge in 2019 and is responsible for the financial strategy of both the overall company and center-level operating subsidiaries. Prior to Edenbridge, Eric spent a decade at J.P. Morgan in New York, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. During his tenure there, he held leadership roles and advised large corporations globally, both in their overall financial strategy and how to execute those strategies through debt and equity financing.
Eric earned a Masters of Arts in Economics from Boston University.
Amanda is a career healthcare professional having worked in a variety of settings for more than 18 years. She began her career as a direct care worker at The Children’s Institute caring for individuals in both pediatric rehabilitation and with Prader-Willi Syndrome and behavioral health needs. Upon completing graduate school, Amanda worked as a social worker at Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care. She has spent the last seven years caring for the aging population, first as a social worker, then as the program director, for a PACE organization in Pennsylvania.
Amanda earned a Masters in Social Work and a Masters of Studies in Law from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work and School of Law and a BA in Social Work and Gerontology from Mercyhurst College.
Alan Abrams has been a practicing geriatrician, physician executive and leader in geriatric education for more than 30 years. His career has been marked by leadership positions at the intersection of the provider and payer spaces. During his time as chief of geriatrics at Cambridge Health Alliance, he helped launch one of the early PACE programs in Massachusetts. He is nationally recognized for designing and implementing model geriatric health care delivery programs for culturally diverse, low-income populations. He most recently served as chief medical officer of the Pioneer Accountable Care Organization at Beth Israel Deaconess, which included Medicare shared savings risk contracts covering 70,000 lives.
Alan has served as medical director of UnitedHealth’s Special Needs Plan for People Living in Nursing Homes, and the Cambridge Health Alliance Center for Excellence for Senior Health, which included a PACE program. He served for 11 years as the director of the geriatric fellowship program at Harvard Medical School, and has been involved in the training of hundreds of practicing geriatricians. He is on the faculty at Harvard Medical School and continues to teach geriatric fellows as well as speak internationally on geriatrics, education, and health care delivery for the elderly.
Alan holds a Master in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health and an MD from the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and his fellowship in geriatrics at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Vladeck was the Medicare Administrator during the Clinton administration and is a world-renowned authority on long-term care. He was closely involved in the early replication and expansion of PACE centers.
Dr. Stone is an international authority on aging and long-term care policy. She is a former official in the White House and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Dr. Ryan is the senior medical director of geriatric services at Rochester Regional Health, where he works with community physicians to develop a working model of accountable care, building on his experience from PACE.
A nationally renowned thought leader on frail eldercare, Dr. Lynn is the author of MediCaring Communities, a model of community-based social and medical support for frail seniors.
Jessica’s parents passed away within months of each other in 2016. Her mother struggled with rapid, early-onset Alzheimer’s for eleven years, most of which were spent living in a nursing home — despite the best efforts of her family to care for her at home. Jessica joined Edenbridge to support its mission to help frail elders age with dignity and to honor her parents’ legacy.
Jessica is a seasoned administrative support specialist with experience in healthcare, tech, travel and tourism, academia, and government. She brings more than 16 years of experience with executive support, program administration, training, and the organization and implementation of administrative practices. Since joining Edenbridge in 2019, Jessica has provided high-level administrative support including office and clinical management to the CEO and executive team. More recently, she has also been involved in market development with research, community outreach, and application management. She is passionate about enhancing the support of the eldercare system with dignity and respect.
Jessica earned a BA, cum laude, from Virginia Tech. She lives in Salem, Massachusetts and spends her free time at the nearest ocean, planning world travel, and obsessing over hot sauce.
Victoria has been a dedicated part of the Edenbridge Health team for more than four years. Her belief in a more equitable healthcare system and passion for serving the traditionally underserved drew her to PACE. At Edenbridge, she primarily focuses on launch operations, while also supporting learning and development, market development, and research initiatives.
Victoria earned a BA in political science from Boston College. In her spare time, she can be found organizing and watching TV in Attleboro, Massachusetts.
Blakely grew up with her grandparents living just downstairs; they were like second parents to her. Their desire to remain in their home inspired her wish to help the Edenbridge team to realize its vision.
Blakely has a background in accounting, finance and executive administrative support. She has worked in a variety of industries including benefit administration, food service and healthcare. Blakely joined Edenbridge in 2017 and has held a number of different positions including executive assistant and corporate administrative support. Most recently she has been managing accounting, payroll and benefits.
Blakely earned a BS in finance from Bentley College and a MBA from Endicott College. She lives in Danvers, Massachusetts, with her husband and two sons. In her free time, Blakely enjoys boating, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Estenieau has worked in healthcare, financial management, and compliance for more than 18 years and has served in nonprofit leadership and management for decades. Prior to joining Edenbridge, he worked as finance and compliance consultant for Central Valley Pace, Modesto, California, and as controller and Medicare Part D compliance officer of Gary and Mary West PACE of Northern San Diego. He also worked at the Elder Service Plan of Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as the director of finance and information services, where he oversaw growth of the PACE program from 69 participants to 450 participants. A native of Hinche, Haiti, Estenieau received a law degree from the National School of Law and Economics of Gonaives, Haiti. He holds a BS in Finance from Suffolk University and a Master of Science in Public Affairs from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
Zac Stillerman advises companies in the fields of healthcare, higher education and the arts. His focus is on helping firms accelerate sales and product development efforts.
Prior to his time as an advisor, Zac spent more than 20 years at the Washington, D.C.-based Advisory Board Company, a research and analytics company that helps hospitals and health systems around the globe improve their operating performance. More recently, Zac served as the President of Precision Xtract, an analytics and services firm serving the pharmaceutical industry.
Aside from his business activities, Zac has also been a member of the board of directors at The Washington Chorus. He lives in Washington D.C. with his wife and two daughters and is a fan of jazz, Spanish wine and bicycling.
Zac earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Middlebury College.
Simon Laganiere is a neurologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and an instructor in neurology at Harvard Medical School, where he is the Sidney R. Baer, Jr. Foundation fellow in the clinical neurosciences. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of patients with cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, and established and directs the Executive Function and Attention Disorders Clinic at BIDMC for patients with deficits in sustained attention, task switching, planning, organizing, and executing. After graduating from McGill University, Simon attended the Yale School of Medicine and completed his residency in neurology and a fellowship in cognitive neurology at BIDMC. He has published articles in a range of journals, including Brain and Neurology.
After graduating with a degree in Accounting and Business Management, Nick spent his early years as a consultant with PwC and Deloitte providing business and tax strategy plans for Fortune 100 companies. Recognizing a passion to serve the underserved, he left consulting to pursue a career in medicine. He attended Medical School at Wayne State University and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Health System, located in the city of Detroit. He completed his training with a fellowship in geriatric medicine and clinical epidemiology at Yale University before returning to Michigan to join a Metro Detroit PACE Program, where he oversaw the development of six clinics and 1,200 participants as medical director.
Nick enjoys combining his clinical and business background to drive high performance of PACE programs with strong impact on both quantitative and qualitative measures for the participants and care team members. His focus on providing care to the underserved is at the forefront of everything he does. His knowledge of the impact PACE brings to communities fuels his drive to build and expand these programs, be a voice for the vulnerable, and create innovative care that is mission-driven and operationally sustainable.
His passion for serving the community extends beyond healthcare and aging adults to his participation in educational initiatives focused on improving literacy rates and mentoring within the community.
Peter Dreyfus is a seasoned health care leader, having worked at the cutting edge of policy and health care delivery over a 30-year career in Boston. As a practice leader at Harvard Community Health Plan and its successor organizations (now Atrius Health), Peter guided clinicians, clinical leaders, and operating managers to create compassionate workplaces focused on patient needs while delivering on the promise of accountable care. While directing two of Atrius’ Boston health centers, including its first and flagship Kenmore practice, Peter led dozens of successful efforts to improve care and patient engagement, while restraining the growth of medical expenses. Atrius Health was a national leader in accountable care, achieving best-in-the-nation quality performance in its Medicare Advantage and Pioneer ACO programs.
At the Massachusetts Medicaid program, Peter designed and led early efforts to bring what we now call accountable care to families insured by MassHealth. He subsequently led Massachusetts’ first foray into universal health care through the CommonHealth program: a major Medicaid expansion and extension of coverage to working disabled adults and disabled children.
Peter earned a Master’s degree in management at Brandeis’ Heller School For Social Policy and an undergraduate degree in English from Brown University.
Tom’s mother was a PACE participant. His involvement with PACE from the family side has helped to shape Tom’s focus on providing comprehensive, compassionate care.
Tom Reiter has worked in healthcare for nearly 30 years in a variety of settings, including mental health, geriatrics, and integrated healthcare models. Tom has extensive experience working with capitation and risk through the PACE model, and in developing an accountable care organization and medical homes.
During his 18 years leading PACE programs, Tom served as executive director of Gary and Mary West PACE of Northern San Diego, where he led the development of West Health’s first PACE program; and as president and CEO of Rocky Mountain Health Care Services, where he led the organization’s development and expansion. While at Rocky Mountain, Tom oversaw growth of the PACE program from 143 to 500 participants and the renovation of a 24,000-square-foot building to become a state-of-the-art PACE facility. Prior to Rocky Mountain, Tom led the PACE program for the Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Tom has served on the board of directors of the National PACE Association and as faculty for the PACE 2.0 Initiative, which focuses on accelerating growth of the PACE model.
Tom is deeply invested in working with communities to evolve services and systems to support their residents’ healthcare needs. He has also served on multiple boards including Community Health Partnership, Rocky Mountain Options for Long Term Care, Innovations in Aging, and The Foundation for Senior Wellbeing. Tom earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Toledo, Ohio. He is a LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt.
Mr. Kramer is founder of Nexus Insights, a thought leadership platform that explores new models of housing and aging services for older adults. Mr. Kramer is also co-founder and former CEO at the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care. In 2019, Mr. Kramer conceived of and championed “The Forgotten Middle,” a landmark study of the health and socioeconomic status of middle-income adults who will be 75 years or older in 2029 and their ability to afford private pay senior housing.
Ms. Hansen is a 25-year veteran and former CEO of On Lok Senior Health Services, which developed the original PACE model. She is the former CEO of the American Geriatrics Society, President of AARP, and commissioner of MedPAC.
Ms. Drane, a healthcare entrepreneur, is co-founder and CEO of Rebel Health and ARCHANGELS. She also serves as Wellness Expert for Prudential, and co-founded Eliza Corporation. She believes that caregivers are our country’s unsung heroes, and that we need to expand the definition of health to include life.
Mr. Gorman is the Founder and Chairman of Nightingale Partners. His work focuses on Medicare, Medicaid, and Affordable Care Act strategy, governance, and turnaround of distressed health plans. John served as Assistant to the Director of Health Care Financing Administration’s (HCFA, now CMS) Office of Managed Care. During the 1993 debate on national health care reform, John was chief lobbyist on health care financing issues for the National Association of Community Health Centers, an organization of federally-funded primary care clinics for the medically underserved.
Dr. Fernandopulle is a practicing physician and the Chief Innovation Officer of One Medical. He was the founder and CEO of Iora Health, an innovative, high-growth provider of primary care services to seniors. He is an entrepreneur with experience building and managing person-centric, financially accountable health clinics across the country.
Jeremy Elkins has a background in law and policy. A native of Los Angeles, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area after college, and received his PhD from Berkeley Law School (formerly Boalt Hall). He has worked in a variety of consulting and administrative capacities for professional organizations, helping to rationalize them and improve their efficiency. Since co-founding Edenbridge Health, he has served as a strategic and organizational advisor. He is currently a professor of jurisprudence, political thought and social policy at Bryn Mawr College, and a psychoanalyst in private practice.
Jo is a lifelong healthcare strategy executive and health services entrepreneur with expertise in strategy, operations, finance, and business development. In 2003, Jo co-founded Isis Parenting, a unique blend of childbirth education and early parenting services. She served as President and CEO from 2006 through 2011 and directed the company’s expansion to five regional locations with a digital presence that led the way for innovative thinking in perinatal health. Previously, Jo worked in the strategy consulting practice of Accenture, where she helped teams from some of the nation’s largest health systems capitalize on opportunities during the dot-com growth of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Harvard School of Public Health and Harvard Medical School in healthcare policy research, focusing on disparities in access to and quality of healthcare services.
Jo earned an MBA from The Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a BA, cum laude, from Kenyon College. In her free time, she likes to cook, DJ loud music, and play bass guitar in a local garage band.
A pivotal moment in Stephen’s life was seeing his beloved great-grandmother placed in a nursing home when he was just eleven years old. Seeing her experience early-stage dementia and living in an institutionalized setting, he felt her humanity was being taken from her. This led to a lifelong desire to create lasting change in elder care.
Stephen Gordon is a board-certified geriatrician with a lifelong passion for improving the care of the elderly. He founded Edenbridge Health in 2016 after spending two years working as a primary care geriatrician at the Program for All- Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) at Upham’s Corner Health Center in Dorchester, Massachusetts, as well as director of the Iora Health Fellowship in Primary Care Innovation, where he specialized in clinical systems design, care planning, and provider development. He continues to practice on a limited basis at Upham’s Corner PACE. He is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and holds clinical appointments at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Medical Center, and Hebrew SeniorLife, where he teaches in the Harvard Multi-Campus Fellowship in Geriatrics. He is a supervising physician for United Community Health Plan, where he oversees more than 30 nurse practitioners caring for nursing home patients across the Boston area.
Stephen’s career has spanned the worlds of medicine and business. After graduating from Harvard College, he spent four years as a consultant for the Advisory Board Company, where he worked on issues relating to hospital strategy and operations, including service line growth, facility design, primary care strategy, and physician-hospital relations. After a year at the Harvard Interfaculty Program for Health Systems Improvement, focusing on issues of healthcare leadership, he earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he double-majored in health care systems and operations. Subsequently, he attended the Yale School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, followed by a two-year fellowship in geriatrics at Harvard Medical School.
Stephen has consulted for the Leapfrog Group, the Clinton Foundation, the Governments of Ukraine and Nigeria, the City of Cape Town Clinics in South Africa, Renaissance Health, as well as hospitals and health systems across the U.S.
He lives near Boston, Massachusetts with his wife and three children. He is the only person in the house who does not speak Cantonese.
